I was already feeling kinda "I guess I'll stick it out" towards Days Gone, having heard that the first act is a slog, but now that it has thrown away half of my progress because the save button doesn't actually function (seriously, it just creates a copy of your last autosave, and autosaves apparently only happen at the start of missions???), IDK if it's even worth playing through the >30 minute second mission a second time to get back to stuff that I at least haven't seen before.
It's rather pretty and runs extremely well, but dang, half an hour of "it doesn't feel like anything is happening yet" after another half an hour of tutorials and walk 'n' talk doesn't go down well the first time, asking me to do it all over again is not a recipe for making me want to keep playing, haha
