I'd like to have a video game controller with sticks and a d-pad again. My Steam Controller is nice for PC games that expect a keyboard and mouse, but it's kinda dreadful for any game that needs a d-pad, and not always ideal for anything that needs a right joystick.

Hmm, I wonder if it'd be worth it to buy a used Dualsense controller with stick drift and replace the sticks with magnetic ones....
Shipping would be longer than just picking a new one up locally, but it would be ~$15 less immediately and ~$32 less once the new one's sticks break (plus, I wouldn't need to worry about drift popping up in the future). If there are any other issues with it I'd likely be out of luck, though.

A dualsense would be the best option in terms of features (gyro, fancy triggers, touchpad, seamless iOS support), but then again, I could also go for an 8BitDo controller for less than half the price brand-new, with pre-installed hall effect joysticks....
