I have a nickel allergy which means I'm allergic to some watches, jewelry, and that one spot on jeans right behind the button so what I do is I get some electrical tape and put it over wherever the nickel part is. It's a soft tape and it's black so it's not noticeable if you put it on ,say, the back of a choker where a nickel chain is.
