my big takeaway from climbing and e-biking is that I was actually never going to get into a sport as a hobby by approaching it as a self-improvement / fitness journey. that frame of mind is an absolute non-starter. what works for me is simply finding ways in which I like to move and exist in my body! no ulterior motive allowed!
