i can't go to hell - i'm all out of vacation days. i watch space rocks and yell at computers for my day job. probably too old for any of this

i think i might be burned out on internet social. it's hard to keep doing it. it's hard to even maintain the amount of attention i'm already giving it

i am the cause of most of my own problems

furthermore, capitalism must be destroyed

Quick thought - had a chost get pretty popular the last couple days. Don't know exactly how many interactions it got, but the notification link was at 99+ more than once over a couple days.

With that kind of volume, it's sort of impossible to find genuine interactions (shares w/ text or people leaving comments) under the absolute deluge of "X liked this"

This isn't likely to be a frequent problem for me specifically but maybe a way to filter that page would be good? Likes are nice little good brain chemicals in small numbers, but ultimately if they're making it impossible to tell when someone has taken the time to leave an actual reply, it seems like a signal-to-noise problem

(I absolutely do not have the brain energy (brenergy) to manually sift through hundreds of notifications)
