what about bulldozing golf courses to put up homeless shelters and community gardens?
Unfortunately, golf courses are almost universally choc full of heavy metals that would make growing anything edible on the land a big gamble at best. Pollinator gardens are a better pick than community gardens if the option ever comes up.
