plugging in to recharge is maybe one of the best reasons you could be some kinda lik synth creature
it just seems nice
sure you've got robust charging electronics to smooth out most AC frequencies and waveform shapes, and transformers to boost or divide a wide range of voltages down to within spec
but surely there's some kind of sensory gear in there to help measure the quality of whatever you're plugging into, right? for the same reason we have taste receptors to tell whether something is poison or has high value nutrients we need
so does different electricity taste different? do different frequencies have a different flavour profile? does a stepped waveform taste different than a square or sawtooth or pure sine wave? does it get spicy when you're nearing the upper range your voltage regulators can safely convert?
