Welcome to a post.

Hello. I've been on the internet for a long time, and have been SonicKitsune online for a significant part of that time. I stopped actively using Twitter over two years before it became even cooler to not use Twitter, and have been most active on my website ever since. I also left Tumblr over two years before I stopped using Twitter, when it became cooler to not use that site when they started banning specific nipples (but they may have sort of reversed that decision now, not sure exactly). Long story short, my history with social media's shortcomings is why I'm averse to the idea in general now, and of course it's really come down to corporate decisions.

As a general overview, I'm some guy who is an adult and loves robots and also cute and soft and rounded stuff, and it's great when those overlap. If you've seen my "robosona" then you might get what I mean. I am also a video game enjoyer who's leaned more toward the indie space in recent years. I'm a programmer by trade and artist by hobby. I sometimes also review things like music or video games and related topics and post those on my site as well. The reason why the style is horrendous on that page is because I pretty much just ported it over from Blogger before they did some weird thing that drove me away. If you must know more about me, my about page has some various info I've probably not covered here.

With that, I'm not sure how much I'll be using this at the moment. Maybe if I stream again I'll post a notice here, or if I do a major site update of some kind. As it is, my old Twitter account is just repurposed as an RSS reader for my site updates since I stopped using that site. Maybe without the corporate overhead I might feel a little bit better about posting on a place like this. I have also thought about Mastodon but we'll see if I decide to mess with that later. I'll be honest, the ability to throw in CSS in posts was a nudge toward using this when social networks seem more intent on removing customization. For all I know even Tumblr is starting to move people to a more unified page style than all the wacky theme potential they had. At least this isn't all just default blue. I mean, I like blue, but it's being abused by corporate entities.
