A shorter one this time. Still on early as heck here though.
Usual start with all the mobile updates for GO and Master Sex and such plus whatever raid is the latest in Scarlet/Violet. I still don't really get why a sleep helper app would want to have potentially anxiety-inducing things like limited time events and the usual other phone game stuff, aside from, you know, money and whatever.
The first big announcement I guess was the umpteenth adaptation of the TCG to a digital format, on phones of course. The trailer was more focused on the collection aspect and showing off the cards, including how they handle parallax holographic type stuff in the graphics and also some "immersive" card thing that pans through an illustrated environment. They do have the actual game in there somewhere but barely showed that. Also the selling point is opening two free packs per day and it's supposed to be due out this year.
The second and last major thing was a teaser trailer that announced that they actually are doing another Pokemon Legends game, this time taking place in Kalos while showing some "urban development plan" or something for Lumiose City, that circular 3D city most known for pretty much being Paris and also a potential spot to hatch lots of eggs by riding in a circle around the not-Eiffel Tower. I think it's called Pokemon Legends Z- or maybe Z-A because I'm not entirely sure how to read the logo here, and it's not scheduled to be out until next year thankfully so hopefully plenty of time to fix that up, but there's no other details or even footage of this yet. However it's a potentially interesting setting given the whole backstory presented in X/Y regarding the big war that apparently necessitated the use of a superweapon, plus maybe Zygarde gets more of a spotlight in the home region this time, instead of how that happened last time where the extension of that ended up more in the Sun/Moon games around the time the X/Y anime had that plot going on.
I wouldn't say the small amount of announcements this time is a disappointment, rather something preferred, given the general attitude I've seen has been "they better not rush out BW(2) remakes/remasters and Gen 10 already", plus people seem to want another Legends game more than any other thing, at least people who found that one interesting. However I'm not sure that anyone was expecting it to be about Kalos because everyone was all like "it'll be in Johto this time". So that pretty much just leaves seeing how that game works out, if it'll be like Arceus involving dealing with the wild monsters and turn order or have some other twist on things to expand on the usual stuff or at least what there was before, and how it'll look and perform as well.
