Been feeling myself really falling out of love with Marvel Snap lately over how asinine the card acquisition process is. It turns out whiffing on enough 25% rolls and being stuck with a static, growingly obsoleted experience saps my enthusiasm to keep subjecting myself to this.

And mechanically Marvel Snap is fantastic. The most innovation in the digital card game space I've seen in a while. It's so simple yet deep, and while I rarely personally engage with the snapping mechanic I think it adds a tremendous amount of fun and depth.

But then lately my experience has been stale, uninspiring. I'm sure someone will smarm that it's a skill issue and I should be experimenting, but my baseline experience doesn't justify that kind of effort investment, and I don't have anything to experiment with!

And I really don't need to be losing a distraction or anything that brings me a little enjoyment right now.

Yeah, i get it. Its a pretty cool game, but it does ask you to invest alot of your time if you wanna keep unlocking stuff. After unlocking like 95% of the cards i also just called it a day end never booted it again.
