It's less writing imo and more just consciousness. You when you're horny is not you when you're at baseline. Horny brain is a state of consciousness, a state of mind, perspective thing, whatever.
There's a lot of different levels of "turned on" here, but: Yes, definitely! Usually not "brain bluescreen, horny now" turned on, but "ooh. Oh that's NICE." turned on. Does that make sense?
idk that I'm representative of your audience for smut purposes (I don't read much of it, definitely dislike video stuff, and am probably somewhere in the vicinity of demi wrt irl attraction) but yeah, I'd describe myself as turned on by it. very good smut, 10/10.
It takes so long to write horny that it stops being horny by the time you've finished writing it.
