fell off playing Splatoon 3 bc connection issues had inexplicably gotten SO much worse all of a sudden last season. just came back, hoping it would be different since the patch notes said they had tried to improve connection. once again got a connection error while sitting in the lobby waiting for the 10 minute timer from when it DC'd me last time to be up. this is just depressing.
ok so I got DC'd again trying to queue up but upon the second attempt to queue I actually got in and the matches themselves have gone smoothly so far. hoping that keeps up.
sighs. before last season, for all the connection issues the games had, I had seen this screen maybe 5 times total in all my years playing the whole Splatoon series. since last season, I have seen it multiple times every time I sit down to play. nothing about my setup changed at all to cause it and it's also been happening to my friend who lives in an entirely different state, so I know it's not me. and now it's back, despite the promise in the patch notes. I love this game. I have loved this series since I got Splat1 for Christmas in 2015. but I just- I can't with this shit. this is completely unacceptable.
