Your soundcloud has about a decade of music on it, and there's a clearly marked point where Obesk stuff starts popping up, namely with the track Obeski and following playlist The Spire which has an icon containing the Obesk character for 'M' on a door, reminiscent of the FBX door that corru.observer greets players with.

I'm curious - before Obeski were any of the tracks you made related to this whole corru project/world? Past iterations of it? What of Seventh Forge in particular?

As for The Spire, was that a collection of tracks for a specific attempt at bringing a corru-related project to fruition that fell through? That's the impression I get :o

it also looks like the cover for Theme of the Lich and The Ruined are early iterations of Moth, same for Theme of the Friend and Cavik's face design. That's not a question per se, just an observation that you could confirm or deny if you wish hehe

been wondering about this stuff for a few months now. Fine if I get no answers but ye! I also don't want old story ideas unless you wanna provide them, just interested in vague corru dev details

nearly all of my music is directly related to the obesk and their world, going back that full duration and longer! it has been in my head for a very long time, but for even longer i viewed myself as having no skills or ability to bring it into reality aside from being able to make somewhat listenable music, so i sort of just made stuff for me and my friends.

it was actually a huge emotional weight on me, because i felt like i had this thing i really wanted to share with people, but didn't know how - I'm not really an artist (in the 'being able to draw' sense), and not even trained to make music (i kinda just bang pots and pans together until it works). and at the same time as i felt this, i was simultaneously entering the adult world of 'you will now work until you die, please enjoy what you have picked!' so it felt like my chance was over... but then i learned web development, and how to write css, and bla bla bla it all went off from there and now we're here. some moral message here about how it's "never too late"

but back to music - there are some musical bits and leitmotifs that can be heard throughout my older music that ALSO appear in newer corru.observer music, which is an intentional move! they don't mean much to most people aside from the meaning they've garnered through the context of corru.observer, but to a few people who have been with me since the beginning, it's sort of a nod to them as well, since their influence is also clear in the game

however, The Ruins in particular actually was from my first attempt at making a 3D CSS game! (attached image was the first room) it is a world that now lay in a dark corner, but it may return one day... its relation to the obesk is minimal, but it was an important step! (it's also where the visual style came from!)

I really gotta work out how I wanna draw non-signature obsek. I'm not super happy with how I drew them before and I forgot about the lack of a neck... I'm gonna try to get this locked in whenever I draw Geli. Should be pretty soon after the next update; I just wanna see what they're like personality-wise before I draw them.
