Normally when I'm commissioning art I have a small collection of images I fall back on to communicate the character in question. This one, by Remulle, has been a standard for years now.
Ceryl is, largely, a brash and bold idiot, but he does have a quiet side. It's just that he needs to be miles away from people (and other irritants) to allow himself a moment to chill and be thoughtful. If a sergal merps in a forest, and no-one's around, is he still a jerk?
Thank god for nature, otherwise he'd probably be ten times as irritating as he already is. Plus, it shows him off at his shaggiest, and I flat-out adore that look.
