So in a conversation elsewhere a couple days ago, I was reminded of some old memories I have of a game called Medieval Engineers, which had a lot of promise, but kinda got cut short in a pretty half-baked state. Still though, it can be decently fun for the right kinds of people, particularly with the sorts of stuff modders have been able to add.

while I definitely don't recommend purchasing the game as it stands...

anyone else I know happen to have it in their library already? Feel like doing some multiplayer survival stuff might be fun

Keen left Space Engineers in a half-baked (albeit much better) state for a short while too - they're working on the next version of their engine now though which will likely contain all the improvements from Medieval Engineers (compound blocks, structural integrity), as well as things like planetary scale voxel water, and much improved high speed voxel collisions with displacement (for craters and trenches) and realistic slowdown instead of stopping dead on impact.
