A love comedy about a sukeban, Atsuko, and a transfer student, Riri, who thinks she's cute and likes to make her say cute things. In service of the sukeban theme, it's set in the '80s. The writing doesn't particularly seem to be trying to avoid anachronism, but the art style sells it and I think that aspect is the highlight of this title.

In spite of Atsuko's delinquent behavior, such as smoking at school and brawling, it's quite an innocent love comedy. Riri is an oddball boke, so Atsuko serves as the tsukkomi. There's some typical misunderstandings to push the relationship forward and usual scenarios such as Riri nursing Atsuko when she has a cold, going to a festival, etc. It's quite standard fare, and I've not found it laugh out loud funny, but the coupling is cute.

Spoilers for end of volume 2I guess this won't massively change up what it's doing, but the 2nd volume ended with them mutually confessing, and the series is still going.
