Posting about some of the manga I read. I read manga in Japanese.

The Bloom Into You anime ended with Yuu and Touko going to Aqua Park Shinagawa.

Incomplete anime adaptions of manga are normal, but Bloom Into You has the slight problem that its story was clearly building toward the characters putting on a play, and then instead of that play happening the main characters go to an aquarium? I can understand some of the anime only audience not being taken with it, especially in the absence of a 2nd season. But the trip to the aquarium was a very sweet event for Yuu and Touko, especially the conversation about Touko's feelings for Yuu being important for assuring herself of her own identity because she knows she's not basing that aspect on her sister.

I absolutely adored this episode (and the anime as a whole), but it really does need that second season... way too many yuri adaptations get left with a half-finished (or not even half in some cases) journey compared to the source material.

It's a general problem with anime, but with yuri there's not very many shows, even the best aren't likely to get 2nd seasons and it's easy for people to perceive the genre such that they think it's rare for characters to become girlfriends. At least Sasakoi is pretty certain to get far enough to not leave that impression.
