A series about a private detective agency. More of a love comedy than noir though. The main character is Sajikawa Makoto, a woman who specializes in disguises and infiltration. She's infatuated with the man she works with, Uwatsuki Shingo, but he tries to keep their relationship professional. Another woman, Hasugasaki Sumi, also joins the team after she stalks Uwatsuki. So it's a love triangle situation.
The quality of artist's character illustrations is what made me want this. And I think the artist is trying to play to their strengths as to some extent the story feels like it's a vehicle for putting Sajikawa and Hasugasaki in different outfits. For instance, they do a stakeout on a beach. They get dressed up for a glitzy party. There's a chapter where Hasugasaki works at a maid cafe. Beyond that, the work of the detective agency isn't much more than things like getting away with surreptitiously taking pictures, so the plotting is rather insubstantial. The comedy aspect also didn't particularly land for me. So unfortunately I found it to be a bit dull, despite how good it looks.
