While not trans, I have many a time shopped for clothes at thrift stores and you can find great stuff there. Very cheap too, of course. Try to avoid goodwill if you can, they're a lil overpriced nowadays.

as a chubbier trans woman i hit up h&m’s plus sized stuff. it usually tends to fit me pretty well even while having fairly broad shoulders. only downside is they are quite guilty of the whole not having pockets on femme clothes thing.
