Feels like even though people have scattered from Twitter the one big complaint I have is that everywhere else in general feels less engaging.
I know its ironic complaining about the demise of a popular site when talking about it on a way smaller place like here, but it just feels like I genuinely wish that never happened, y'know? I miss congregating in one place where most people interacted, and I got consistent business from for my art on. Now, it just feels like every other site you hope to get some interaction and barely get much back, including on my own end for business where now I'm more worried about my well being ever since this started becoming more and more prevalent and I'm noticing less and less interested customers.
It just sucks. I hate feeling like nowhere really feels as secure as much for me. Cohost is a nice place for feeling cozy, but realistically it still shares the small user base issue compared to many other places to get noticed / business from consistently, no offense. Just feels like as a freelance dependent, this has gotten way harder and people don't really understand that and would rather complain about folks posting on other places than realize its still small. I wish it wasn't, but what can you do. Sigh. Just everything's so overwhelming lately...
