I'm asking Neronium because it was his most played steam game, even though it looked like he didn't really use Steam much. Still a lot more than me, ha ha.
Anybody else got opinions? I've heard it's pretty good, but also a bit lacking. I really don't need to spend anymore, but the deals, they drag me in! I got RE4 remake for just under $30 a couple days ago--haven't received it because I took the late shipping option to get 6% cash back on my total order. It'll be right after xmas.
I finished FF16 earlier today... I was honestly kinda sad after completing it. It's a really good game imo, but it's so different (it's a mix of Bayonetta and DMC--Platinum helped build the combat system, so it makes sense) I'd assume some would be upset with it. Considering the mainline FF games have slowly been going this direction, away from turn based, for quite a while, it didn't really phase me. Besides, I really like the games it's similar to. I really enjoyed the story as well. I do wish there was more choice, but that's never really been a big thing in FF games. They're telling a very specific story, and you like it (FF7) or you don't (FF13) ha.
It's got ALL of the graphics though! I can only imagine what it will look like on a high end PC when it inevitably releases there. The Eikon battles are ridiculously pretty. More spectacle than standard battles, but good lord they are visually gorgeous! I wish the game held its framerate better so VRR would be able to cover the gaps, but it drops below 48fps, which is where PS5 needs to be for it to work properly. It's still ridiculously pretty though, and a fun time if you know what you're getting into. Plus, Torgal is a good boy.
