DC should hire me for my revolutionary Joker premise: Funny Joker. A version of the Joker who is funny. A version of the joker who does not do so much psychopathic murder, but instead is more of a funny clown, a silly guy. Maybe he's a bit TOO silly. But he wants to be funny, not scary. This angle would blow audience's minds now that we've had 30 years of increasingly evil and monstrous Jokers. Think about it. Funny Joker.

FUNNY JOKER: AH-HA!! I’m the FUNNY Joker now, Batman! I find the idea of Jokes to be FUNNY...even HILARIOUS!! Hoo hoo hee hee!!

-and then we'd do a storyline where Joker accidentally hurts someone in a really unfunny way and has a crisis of faith. He's like looking himself in the mirror super intensely. So he checks himself into Arkham, gets released on his own recognizance, and gets a normal office job, all while still in full Joker makeup. Batman refuses to accept that he’s not doing a bit. Just follows him around all the time. Watching him pay his taxes and shit

NORMAL JOKER: “I’m SANE now, Batman! These institutional monsters finally cracked the code and made me NORMAL! I don’t think crime is FUNNY anymore! Crime is SCARY to me! I’m the NORMAL Joker, Batman!”

He’s like, whistling along with the radio on his morning commute, sipping coffee. Normal Joker.
