Who left all this garbage out here? This is perfectly good trash

Watching Diaphone prep for it and it's cool how seriously he's taking it. Running through ranked at low level on an alt to get a feel for how players at different skill levels play. He also said something yesterday that I've been saying about a lot of the top players' advice/coaching streams for a while now. Many of the best players are way too good to actually give helpful advice to new players, and will just get frustrated when presented with play anywhere below the 90th percentile of players and give them nothing to work with.

Diaphone and Shine are definitely the two I'm the most-excited to watch coach, but this is a pretty exciting set of coaches. I don't know like any of the actual vtubers/streamers competing tho lmao

It's neat seeing people just learning 2d fighters for the first time getting coached by top-tier players, seeing them invent cool fun tech against each other in matches, and just the wide range of play you get when it's not just a bunch of hyper-optimized 1800+ MR players doing the same combos and playing clean neutral and stuff.

I love watching high-level play, especially for learning and improving, but I love watching pools and stuff for majors more than the actual finals most of the time. This is like that but way moreso, and it's so exciting seeing people right at the start of things being taken seriously.
