What’s your motivation to work on so many tiny scripts to do weird things?
(i actually really like this question!! tysm)
i actually haven't thought about this a whole bunch? the short boring version is "i think it's fun", but - to put it into a nice, content friendly Three (3!) Reasons (which are very connected and hard to really seperated)
1) the first is just it's fun to make things, and, Especially fun to see systems we expect to work one way to work another
2) a way to remind myself that the Digital Space (TM)(C)(R) does belong to all of us! and that no big suit corpo person can take away some person with a script, hacking on functionality (that may not really be in their best interest)
3) i really like making tools that let others be creative (and, sometimes, "others" is me!!!!)
anyway!! tysm this was a really fun thing to think about
