portraits i drew for THE DEVIL'S IMAGO. still really happy with these. def borrowing from disco elysium with those backgrounds but i cant paint at all, i can only do very cool and satisfying comics-style inking... which ends up making these feel quite singular hopefully.
i don't usually draw a lot but doing this was fun and actively made me figure out who these characters are and how they belong in the story in a way that felt illegally quick. talk about a shortcut... i referenced a few existing portraits for these (most noticeably, the Stranger has almost the exact same nose and facial hair as Cardinal Richelieu, who is a guy that may sound familiar if you know about french history or wider french culture at all. great fun.)
anyway i never posted them in HD outside of the game itself so... enjoy...?
