🤒 FACE WITH THERMOMETER — does your oc get sick easily?
Yes! Very! Akira's immune system isn't very good for a number of reasons-- and she fucking hates it. It's not very efficient to get sick. She can't do anything if she's just... laying around in bed.
But also her tummy hurts! She doesn't feel good!! She wants to whine and whine and be held and pet and told that it's going to be okay, even if it's just a tiny little thing.
🐈 CAT — does your oc prefer a wide circle of friends or a few close friends?
A wide circle, surprisingly! She loves being entirely surrounded by people she loves and cares for (likely due in part to growing up with a very large family with even more servants), and feels somewhat uneasy in an entirely quiet house. Plus if there are a lot of people, she can make a lot of snacks!! She'll make you the cutest little charcuterie board. Win/Win for everyone.
🐉 DRAGON — what is your oc's favorite mythical creature?
Ahh I really had to think of this one, due in part to Doma being so heavily inspired by Japan and Japanese folklore, I wasn't sure if the more... humanoid yokai would count!
Akira really likes the most common depictions of Betobeto-san, a yokai which is said to walk behind you at night with a trademark 'beto-beto' sound of sandaled footsteps. She just thinks he's cute! Look at him! Happy guy!! So polite!!!
💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?
Before the flee to Eorzea, Akira only knew Doman entirely fluently. She was capable of speech and writing of some particularly old and fancy scripts/dialects to make her more desirable, and perhaps capable of conversational speech of the language of a nearby region, but nothing more. She was a daughter of a noble house set to be married to another from a different noble house, and was never... really expecting to leave?
Notably that would mean she had no particular experience with the commontongue in Eorzea, her new home. She worked very, very hard to get to a good level of understanding despite the circumstances, and upon her marriage she worked with whatever the fantasy equivalent of speech therapists would be (maybe the same individuals who taught her etiquette? I imagine she went through decently extensive training due to now living in Gridania, the haughty hellscape).
While her accent is still undeniably there, and likely will be for some time, she now speaks semi-fluent Eorzean!
