Ironically, I feel like FA has a better block system than most sites.
I... don't really see how? All it does is stop them sending you notes and comments, it doesn't even hide their art from you and vice-versa.
Now, I'm not on FA, but I was on Twitter for quite some time and I distinctly remember blocking someone kept their shit off your timeline and kept it from being visible to you in general, to the point that even if someone QRTed a tweet of theirs, it would show the QRT but say it couldn't load the quoted tweet (you could click through a QRT and tell Twitter to show it, but this was usually a bad idea, in my experience)
