It's not any better a platform for hosting fiction, but it's at least ethically speaking an easier sell than persisting on FA.

We can all do our part by making accounts elsewhere. I'll be doing so when I get the time to put my whole gallery elsewhere so I can justify clearing mine out.
Yeah, same, I think. No matter what FA's staff walks back I don't want any excuse to linger more than I do already
I'm hoping that having nuked my FA gallery in whole will at least coax a few people over to Weasyl, but then again maybe I'm overestimating my importance just a tiiiiiny bit

Fingers crossed! Moving galleries and trying to establish a presence on a new website is still very scary and tiring to me but at this point I guess I should get used to it until things start to stabilize again, which may be never
For what it's worth, it's just fine for archiving your work.
I'm a writer on Weasyl too, and I agree there are some things that could be a bit better, but having a stable host for my stuff and a few good community tools has had me using the site actively since 2014.
I've heard similar before! I may try to switch over sometime this summer, what better time than to reupload a gallery's worth of smut and erotic fiction
