I realize I am like, a bit of a sourpuss about this sort of thing but god I cannot stand the people who insist that the perpetually sunny weather is so much better than more rain/snow-friendly climates
Discovering whole new kinds of seasonal depression in the state that catches on fire every year, and has no real winter or spring, just mild summer and Death Summer and Warm Fall and Oh-thank-god-finally-there's-rain Fall. If I could guarantee not only my safety but my income I'd pack myself and my boyfriend up and move north to seattle and never look back.
