"Volta is of course curious who tf girl is, and she does let slip that she's a Simonds and just doesn't want to talk family stuff (which Volta understands as the remaining Simondses being in as deep grief as she is; ROSE simply says that she and Audrey are currently requesting discretion, which she accepts)- tho a passerby asks where girl's mum is in reference to Audrey, and Volta's like '??? okay that raises some confusing questions but I'll go with it. poor thing, i don't envy her right now'
And since Pete just ransacked some stuff from Arthur's office in the war tower (looking for access keys, data, etc) and came back with a few mementos from Arthur's desk in lieu of anything more valuable, girl's like 'wait here a sec', runs back to her room, and gets A.) a framed picture of younger TN2 hanging out with Old Aurora Squadron towards their end of their run as main heroes, which was sitting on the minister's desk and B.) a couple of banged-up Aurora patches that TN2 actually wore on his suit back in his heyday, that had to be swapped out due to battle damage, and gives both to Volta, who proceeds to have a Heck of a Moment"
