I have admittedly started Volta off by having her just beat the fuck out of a much more experienced, skilled super with powers that make him mostly invulnerable. The only real advantages she had were:

  1. Her parents expected her to still be in one piece the next time they visited campus, albeit in a more complacent state than how they left her, and
  2. Tullis' outer body turning to a conductive metal alloy doesn't really protect him from, y'know, lightning

But still—The Golden Gavel was a pretty heavy hitter, known for ending any fight by beating his opponents unconscious. He was no slouch—Volta, in a way, got very lucky that her power is such a good counter to his, and that he didn't have another Dampener on hand or the know-how to handle her without one that didn't involve snapping her in half.

So I'm very interested to explore how Volta deals with fighting capes as a Korps agent, with Korps combat training and gear at her disposal.

And, moreover, how she deals with Tullis, who won't be caught off-guard by her powers a second time. But she can handle that, right?

Right?
