I’m really bad at making friends so creating relationships, even in online spaces, is uncommon. On cohost, though, once I started expressing myself and my sexuality in the ways I would allow myself to elsewhere I found so many people who were sympathetic to me and felt how I do. It wasn’t until this site announced the closure that I realized “oh my god I am friends with a lot of the silly little gay people on my computer. Actually, meaningful friends.” So it’s heartbreaking that it’s coming to an end!
