I hate egg jokes. As someone who’s was in denial of being trans from much of my life and has only come out as trans in online spaces recently every single egg joke I’ve seen has felt demeaning and belittling. It makes the trans community feel toxic and unwelcoming
To transition is to grow and change, you shouldn’t belittle someone for not growing quick enough for you or not being comfortable with their own changes/lack-there-of. For a lot of people being trans means to completely uproot their lives so you should just be supportive of others and not talk shit
Being trans already kinda sucks ass and when someone says, “you _______? How did you not know you were trans sooner?!? That’s such egg behavior lol” you make me feel bad :(
