About time I finally make a good organized post as to what I'll do once it all goes read-only.
It's been a fun ride folks, and I am happy that the cohost experiment was attempted at all.
This was a cool place, full of cool people, who I hope to see again in some form... I've spent a long while bookmarking as many cool personal sites as I could.

So, where will this hat with robot arms be once everything's over?
Well, thing is, I have a habit of making a million accounts, so there's plenty of places to find me! Many of you are going on different directions, and I hope to meet you somewhere as I try to find where I will go.

I haven't quite settled on a social media where I'll be mainly on, so, if you want a place where I'm guaranteed to be on, feel free to check the HATsite! A personal website that I put a lot of effort into, with writings and the like. I'm coming back to it soon to work on shrines!

The HATsite also has two RSS feeds! One for updates, and another for my journal entries!
If you prefer to use a reader, please link these two:
https://tricksterhat.neocities.org/rss.xml
https://tricksterhat.neocities.org/rss_entries.xml

I also have a discord account, I added it to my profile for those who I do follow and want to contact me for any reason. Send a Friend Request as I have DMs from non-friends disabled.

Read more to find other links!

may turn this into part of the website but then realized it could make for a really good post
i get plenty of weird dreams that can be described as just "random bullshit go" but sometimes they can be pretty consistent.

now i write these based on notes i make on my phone's notes app as soon as i wake up to make sure i don't forget any details, but sometimes uh, shit happens and i end up forgetting it all. so bear with me here

E3's Return... somehow, featuring Nintendo.

So, as the title says, E3 (which is called EVO as this dream goes for some reason) returned and the first event was Nintendo's, which had a pretty interesting series of games (nothing about the Switch Pro).

  • Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe getting a Switch port.

  • Hugo 1 & 2 GBC going to the NSO

  • Medievil 3 & 4 (they were called Landing Zone in the dream for some reason)

  • Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland DX.

  • An original 2D puzzle game about chickens throwing things at fires to turn them off. This one was mocked in social media apparently.

  • New Splatoon season with focus on more game modes.

  • Mother 1 + Mother 2 (no Mother 3)

  • Yakuza 5 (only Yakuza 5, footage of the final boss being shown)

  • An original brawler that plays like Yakuza.

  • Limbus Company with it's own event and a completely original envy boss.

  • Another Kirby game that went by a codename that made fans really excited, barely awake me theorized that it was that cancelled Kirby Gamecube game

  • A fighting game styled after the Game Boy Color

  • Smash 64 for the NSO, Fighting Polygon Team was shown.

  • Plenty of Game Boy Color games made it to NSO, can't remember specifics, possibly one of them was Duke Nukem, but I really can't recall.

  • The final game was apparently Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 (Mega Man fangame), which had one of the robot masters from that game as the protagonist of a level called "Treasure Man vs. Everyone." that apparently was for a DLC of sorts, and the trailer had a shitty karaoke segment of an anime intro with Mega Man 2 instruments.

And the event was introduced by a Mario Suit, the dream's POV being that of the person under the suit playing Mario, and a popular actress whose name I cannot recall was also with Mario introducing the games. One of the questions in a supposed interview was why was Mario hot and that made Mario laugh in a cute manner for a minute. (This in-character.)

Then, after seeing John Kramer (from the Saw series)' reaction to this interview, I seemingly wake up, finding out that as that dream event happened, an actual event happened, and then I try to write down the games from that event indepth, but then I was thrown into a youtube kinda sketch where I knew too much and then a sitcom with John Kramer reacting to the event, and then I woke up again, to then post about the event, to where people told me that I saw the good future, as an actual event took place but the games shown were complete dogshit.

But then, I woke up again! This time for real, and that was when I started making the list I'm using right now, but it was 5 am so I fell asleep again to have an unrelated dream I really can't remember, to then I woke up freaking out thinking I hadn't written said list.

And here I am now! Funny thing is that as I was sleeping, an actual event took place, that being the RGG Summit of all things. This was, possibly my wildest dream in a while due to how many sub-dreams I had within that same dream.

And if any of these turns to be real in like, an actual Nintendo Direct uh... you are welcome?
I don't know lol.

Rockman EXE Phantom of Network Review

Unfortunately there aren't any resources with the game's maps, however, these game's dungeons are short so getting lost isn't that big of an issue. However...

https://www.therockmanexezone.com/wiki/Rockman_EXE_Phantom_of_Network (warning for game spoilers, check at your own risk.)

To be a Java game, this one is ambitious, it's a full Battle Network game with about everything you'd expect from it, almost nothing got cut (besides music, seriously, only the final dungeon has any music other than the internet theme), to the point there's even a mechanic meant to be a simpler NaviCust. In the story department is nowhere near as good as 3, but it's perfectly serviceable, and it has some amazing concepts such as the final villain which I would have loved to see used more in the actual main series. It's a perfectly alright Battle Network game.

Some things to note however.
- Regular enemies have i-frames, but can also be stunned like you'd stun a boss.
- Because of Java limitations there's very few tracks and the ones that exist will be repeated endlessly, feel free to mute the game if you get too tired of the music.
- The fan-translation has Buster MAX as an option, which I recommend if you want to get through the game quickly.
- There's a chip in Undernet 4 that makes the backtracking in later scenarios and requests way, way easier, make sure you have 150 bugfrags for it.

Shoutouts to HatMan, one of the coolest designs in the game and also my favorite boss.

Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue Review

The levels of good this game reaches are absurd, it's such a huge improvement compared to BN1 and even BN2. Has some of the coolest NetNavi designs, the fights are fun, and everything that isn't the two scenarios before the final one is really good. (Shoutouts to BowlMan.EXE)

The story is also great from start to finish, it's solid, extremely so.

But for the two scenarios that, S U C K.
