Whats the au about ?

In a nutshell, this is a story in which Mark egos and Sander Sides are turned into mythologic creatures, and the story take place in ancient Greece. (Exemple above feat. Dark )

Sphinxes will be quite common, as they are my favorite. However for the need of the story, some may just be humans !

Sphinxes are actually quite important for the story.(sphinx lore will be added later)
In certain parts of Greece, sphinxes are considered deities,and are worshipped accordingly by the human population.
Depending on how many followers a sphinx is able to gather, a well appreciated sphinx can even have a temple built in its honor, in which people come to visit it to pay their respect and present offerings to the sphinx, in hopes of being blessed and/or receive favors from them.

Depending on their speciality, sphinxes can represent specific thing, wherehas it be good health, wealth, or strenght.
However, because of past events, the people from Thebes think worshipping sphinx to the level of Gods is blasphemous,even more so building temples for them, which in turn, causes tensions to rises between the population possessing opposing opnions on the matter.
People who aren’t from Thebes think killing sphinxes is a sacrilege.(will make the area more specific later)

Depending on the individual, a sphinx is more or less able to master magic produced by their own body, making it possible to measure how powerful they are.
