Hoooooly moly captchas have become so unhinged nowadays. No more "type the word" now it's "Solve this arbitrary puzzle that doesn't really work right 8 times in a row flawlessly"
I s'pose they had to move away from images because the last time I got an image captcha with stuff like "Click the image of the bus" you'd get a bunch of AI mangled nonsense that was near impossible to parse.
