Agreed...WD2 is absolutely a classic of the "open world AAA game collect-em-up" space. In the ballpark with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Fun characters fun story fun aesthetics fun music and BIZARRELY i even really liked how multiplayer worked. (They had a really neat way of keeping the chaotic GTA player behavior from breaking the logic of the narrative, sort of. If you went on a GTA rampage it would Pop you into multiplayer as a "bounty" and start sending other players after you, like dark souls invasions but if you got a little too rowdy. I did so much bounty hunting, and it was so FUCKING fun. Cause, like, you're really living out that fantasy. Some scumbag is out there killing NPCs and he has a number on his head. You're doing the story world a favor. You're outside of the law. The cops are in your way and you can make them run each other over. Your bounty is just another paycheck. And you know...if you ever step out of line...they'll send someone just like you to do your job. That's just life baby.) Really neat little game!
