I am pretty harsh on all magic: the gathering planeswalkers. Like, Chandra? I like her fine, I think she's cool but it's as much because she reminds me of people I love. Gideon was kinda a cool guy, likable enough but I never marked out for 'oh I got to have a new Gideon in my decks.'
That said: I like Grist's unique mechanical structure to represent being a big swarm of bugs, Huatli is dope and her girlfriend and her are very cute together, and I like Kiora's 'hold my beer, watch this' smart idiocy.
