As Yet Untitled Work

I'm Talen! I make videos and articles and games and graphic designs and guides and messes and encouragement. Chances are you can find anything I do on my blog. I like it when you comment on my things, so please do!

fox found a prototype of mine I left on a table, where the idea is for a worker placement game where each other player is providing some of the worker slots. You have, say, two slots in front of you and you put two of your cards there, and then you put your other two workers in slots provided by other players (numbers would need to be set up so there's a forced asymmetry).

The cards are identical; they have a payout when they're visited and when they visit. If they stay, they can get a better effect, as shown in the diagram. First, they get slot 1, then slot 2, then slot 3, but if they stay at slot 3 they are locked in, you lose a worker. Maybe they run away together?

I kind of like this as a system in the tigris/euphrates model where your final score is the Victory Currency you have the least of

EDIT: This is also absolute hell to alt-text for because I literally couldn't find a way to explain this idea and relationship in words and made a physical proxy to explain it
