I feel like it's been a month since I finished episode 1 of Oshi no Ko and I still don't find myself caring about watching any more. It says a huge amount about how incredibly disappointing I find the choice made by spending all that time on a setup and then choosing to make that set up a deliberate rug pull.
It's weird to think about how 'good' this anime is, how heavily praised it is. Like everyone else who is bothering to talk about it found that start super compelling. I wonder if this is like Bloodborne, where if you happen to think it isn't any good, you get muted out of the conversation.
