Feeling some very complicated feelings about something to do with City of Heroes.
About how glad I am we stole something.
Like, Closed Beta, the server that ran on reverse engineered spaghetti code for something like ten years has been transferrred to a public server, along with homecoming and the original hardware is shutting down.
There's a line of continuity, this is fine, but it's got me thinking about how for years someone kept a secret and slowly but surely brought people in until they finally had an opportunity to act on it.
I know there are people who hate what happened here but in this moment I just feel like they can fuck themselves
