I heartily recommend this manga and I really enjoyed it, but these two dorks do a lot of what I'd call 'autistic signalling' if I could attest to an intentionality from the author. There are things like difficulty facially expressing emotions, losing time by distraction, heightened touch sensitivity, difficulty connecting to described emotions, hyperfocusing on projects, and needing rules-based systems for social interactions (the constant competitiveness).
Not 'autistic people do this' but 'these are things I have heard from the autistic experience that all show up in this story'
