I feel silly for not talking more often about the mystery solving when I go recommending the anime to people.
I watched the season some months ago and really liked, I still need to read more of one of the mangas.
At the time i thought it was a shame that it was not dubbed in Portuguese, because I think my mom would like it, but after half a year it actually got a Brazilian dub!
And my mom loved it! My parents never go exactly talk much about experimenting media just the "I like it" which is also an issue I have with myself that make me hard to put in words why I like a thing, but she still does a joke about Maomao when using herb for something or just tea, and asks me when there new episodes to watch.
Giving my experience to help old Catholics ladies to go to Aparecida by bus or van with my mom and grandma, if wasn't the xenophobia that churches and WhatsApp groups here distill to the older population, i think they would love it ! (not like i have contacts with them anymore)
i remember some small talks about asking a younger family member to drink some tea or immersion to cure or treat a symptom and getting a negative of disgust or just because it wasn't a pharmacy medicine (well sometimes they would go for the more extreme cure all stuff, which I relate more with the young of the family in those cases)
Chapter 4 when Maomao nurse someone to health and deal with people not doing the job right relates a bunch with my mom recently about how a friend of her was being nursed, but also I remember similar talks in those past travels to churches too.
The erotism in the anime I feel that is probably the right amount for those ladies, they are not exactly prudes and occasionally would make a sex joke here and there, and in travels where they went to hotels (never went with them in those) some episodes my grandma told me later while not that naughty is some that just reinforces to me the point i made in this paragraph
And all the talks about royalty, dresses and so on would probably be good points of interests too!

And yeah, one of the funniest things about how we engage with media is that we often have a really hard time just expressing what we like about things which means people often struggle around 'it's good, you should try it'
