Been reading through some Magic story leading up to Phyrexia and I'm just plain sad about the amount of cool characters that got compleated.
I'm not too hung up on Jace because I wasn't never really in that twink's camp, but I'm still mad about Ajani, Vraska, Nahiri and Tamiyo. I better not find out that my hunky rock husband Koth or hunky lion wife Kemba got got next set or I'm rioting.
It sucks to be a fan of planes that got fucked up by an angry dragon god and an asshole eugenicist respectively.
my antipathy towards phyrexia, period, has made this whole set a big pass for me, but I will also say, they can make it worse by fucking up Koth, someone who has universally expressed the most perfect position of 'I will fight for my home' by just doing that, non stop, forever
