THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE, however:

You COULD buy the following items from many online retailers for less than £50:

  • HDMI splitter
  • HDMI-to-RCA Converter
  • RCA-to-USB video capture device

And IN THEORY that would let you take what you’re watching on your TV, and also record/share it using OBS or similar software on your computer. The resolution wouldn’t be great, obviously, but the conversion to analog circumvents the DRM that usually prevents you from sharing Netflix, iTunes, etc.
