apparently Google will just let you buy the top ad slot for "<power company> customer service" and steer people to a fake phone number so you can try and steal their money when they try to pay their bill. one of my friends almost fell for it but noticed that a PayPal link was the wrong mechanism to be sending the power company money. nuke Silicon Valley
