Seeing musicians start to adopt AI art for cover art makes me so sad. Album art's a real part of the music for me; even something slapped together out of stock art feels like it's got more effort to me than something AI-generated that my eyes just slides off. Don't want to see that in my library.

speaking from past experience, it is really not hard to take a picture with your phone and/or use a free/đŸŽâ€â˜ ïž image editor (even on your phone) to get something cool with zero experience, i promise

Something cool I learned to do back when I was more active was edit photos in audacity. You can import the raw data and apply effects to it like you would an audio file. You can get some pretty neat effects that are hard to achieve using an actual photo editor!! Fun fact: adding reverb to an image does exactly what you expect it to do lmaoooo
