I want my need for comfort and softness to be divorced completely from my blackness or my masculinity

Going to write my story as a post here soon, but being in South Korea I suffer from the demands of "masculinity", especially at home. I wonder if the mandatory military service factor is one reason here (I didn't serve because leukemia).

I can't even think about being open about my preferences, like going on a photoshoot in a theme park just to take pics of the mascots and my everlove in Miffy, because I know the significant others of me will mock and ridicule me for that. As much as I'm glad I have an online space to openly talk about this, I still die inside whenever I get to hear the expectations of ""men/korean men"" - being athletic and '''man of the house''' etc from my parents and friends.

I'll always say, only people I know that like Django Unchained were white. Ain't nobody want black bodies unless they're corpses or surrounded by white ones. Or lightskinned if you're a woman.

i want more cute boys being wholesome, and i don't want to say i want black boys being cute and wholesome because i shouldn't need to say that ! boys are boys, cute mexican boys, tiny twink slavic boys, huge buff arabic boys gimme all the boys all over the world that are cute and wholesome.

AND MAKE THEM SPEAK LANGUAGES THAT ARE NOT ALL EVERYTHING ENGLISH ! you can be cute and wholesome in spanish and arabic and russian and mandarin. and just normally cute, not "cute and oh so exotic"
