Small Linux tip: if you’re running an audio player through Wine, then the regular media shortcuts on your keyboard won’t work. Instead, you’ll have to run: wine [file path to program] followed by either: /next, /prev, /playpause or /stop (all self explanatory as to what they do).
E.g.: wine "/home/bigballshaver/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/foobar2000/foobar2000.exe" /next
You can easily bind these commands to keyboard shortcuts, if you want. Running these commands, will also open the given program, if it’s not already open.
