i had a feeling something like this was coming but now that it's here, the goal of $1.8 million feels so paralyzingly large. i'm in a fairly good position financially but i cannot, on my own, make a dent in this organization's needs.
i hope they make it because i think that's all i can do.
also, something that i have been thinking about all morning since reading this:

and after my partner jokingly uttered "where's paul allen when you need him", it makes me fucking sick to my stomach that cultural institutions like scarecrow and the living computer museum live and die by the people for whom the entire operations budget for a year is a rounding error
